Almond Oil is a popular professional massage oil. This super light oil helps the hands glide across the skin and has the ideal speed of absorption for performing massage. It stays on the skin long enough to perform the massage, keeping the skin moisturised not oily.
As Almond Oil is a nutritious and emollient oil, it makes an excellent all over skin moisturiser. It helps nourish the skin and this helps your skin look radiant and healthy. Being rich in fatty acids, particularly Oleic acid (Omega 9) and the natural antioxidant vitamin E, soothing Sweet Almond Oil is an excellent choice for those with mature skin.
How to Use
Massage: Sweet Almond Oil is perfect to use on its own or can be combined with essential oils to make a massage blend. Try this warming, spice blend for an uplifting, soothing massage: 2 drops of Cinnamon Bark (#188), 15 drops of Orange Sweet (#105) and 2 drops of Clove (#183) per 100ml of carrier oil. (20 drops = 1ml essential oil.)
Skincare: Almond Oil can be used as an effective facial cleanser and make up remover. It’s light texture dissolves dirt and make up, leaving your skin clean, soft and moisturised.
Haircare: Helps nourish and condition the hair. Combine Almond Oil with Coconut Oil (#203) for a deeply hydrating hair mask. Massage into your hair and scalp, leave for an hour then wash as normal. Top Tip ' apply shampoo to dry hair and begin to lather before adding water. This will begin to emulsify the oil, helping it rinse out easier.
Beauty Hack: Use a mascara brush to apply Almond Oil to your lashes and brows to make them luscious, healthy and shiny.
