Organic Wheatgerm Virgin Oil is packed full of nutrients, making it an excellent addition to your daily skincare regime. It is effective at nourishing and protecting your skin. It is an emollient and is easily absorbed by the skin, so makes an ideal skin moisturiser.

This oil contains Vitamin E, which is one of the most powerful free radical fighting natural antioxidants, meaning Organic Wheatgerm Virgin Oil is particularly useful for mature skin.

High in Linoleic Acid, this wonderful oil makes an effective hair nourisher. It is said to hydrate and condition the hair, making it healthy, strong and moisturised.

All vegetable oils and fats are 100% fat and are generally high in calories (on average about 120 calories per tablespoon).

Vegetable oils are often used in food preparation for salad dressings, cooking, frying, baking, sauces and marinades. As a general guide, virgin and unrefined oils have more of the oil’s natural flavour and lend themselves well for use in cold dishes. Refined oils generally have longer shelf lives and may have a higher smoke point and therefore be better for high heat cooking, but this varies depending on the type of oil.

Each oil has its own distinct flavour and nutrient and Fatty Acid composition, so each oil may be used for different purposes depending on your need.

Skincare

Add a drop to your daily moisturiser for a antioxidizing boost. Use a gentle and effective facial cleanser.

Haircare

Make your own nourishing hair mask, by blending with Coconut Oil (#203). Leave on for an hour, then wash as normal. Top tip – before you wet your hair, begin to lather your shampoo on your head, then add some water and continue to lather. This will help emulsify the oil and will rinse out easier.

Massage

Can be used as a base oil for massage. It is easily absorbed and locks in moisture. Add a few drops of your favourite essential oils a beautifully fragranced massage oil.

Beauty Hack

Use to make your own skincare creams, lotions and balms for a vitamin rich kick.
